It seems likely to us that one reason for this is that our students seem rarely taught to explore American history with a critical eye. Therefore, we have developed this page to examine events in our history that are often overlooked, and yet which have extraordinary importance making informed decisions about events today. We hope that teachers will find information here useful in teaching the relevance of American history to today's citizens.
