CRAs are "Cultural Resource Assessments," or very brief overviews of the
cultural resources that are expected to be found in development tracts. These
documents are far less detailed that a traditional "cultural resource survey"
and are not suitable for submission to federal or state agencies in compliance
with historic preservation responsibilities. They are, however, useful for
planning purposes.
Chicora Foundation does relatively few CRAs and they are not integrated into
our numbering system since the SC SHPO dictates a letter-type report. They are
listed below in chronological order (by date of the study).
